Squarespace is a website platform, which is something you need when you’re building a website. It’s slightly simpler to use and set up than WordPress, but it’s definitely still challenging if it’s your first time.
Squarespace does offer website templates that you can customize to your business, but there is still a big learning curve with Squarespace, and it’s not as simple as everybody claims it to be. There’s still quite a bit of settings you have to figure out, so it’s really not as easy as everybody makes it out to be.
Another thing to consider with Squarespace is that you’re limited in the capabilities that you have with it. So, as your business grows, you might end up realizing that your Squarespace website can’t do everything that you want it to do. You may end up having to switch to a new website platform, which is really time consuming, and your website will be down for a period of time while you’re switching.
WordPress is another website platform with tons of capabilities. Some of the benefits of WordPress are:
